Who Are We?
French Broad Pavers are a true family-owned business in which the whole Reed family has a stake. Donnie Reed started doing paving and concrete work in 1978, and over the years he worked his way from a flagger position to road forman to business owner. His wife, Regina, has run the roller, done estimating and continues to do all of the accounting. Donnie and Regina's son TJ began working on the FBP crew when he was still in high school in the 90's and now runs everything from the back-hoe and the paver to the 10-man FBP crew. Inclusive of the FBP foreman, the 3-man management team at FBP have 120 years of experience between them!

Just the Right Size for Your Job
French Broad Pavers are large enough to pave interstate, yet small enough to do driveways. So they are perfectly equipped to provide value to customers large and small. Being well equipped eliminates the need for renting equipment (an additional cost which smaller outfits are forced to pass on their their customers). This how FBP offers value to our customers regardless of the size of their project.

Certifications and Affiliations
French Broad Paving are NCDOT Certified Roadway Technicians and have an up-to-date Highway Contractors License. Ready for a strole down Alphabet Street? We are also a WBE, and are members of AGC and the BBB. We are bonded and insured to protect our clients and our staff. In short we are qualified to do both private and civic jobs of any scale, from parking lots and sidewalks to interstate highways.
